Bronze sculpture honours murdered teacher Dominique Bernard in Arras
Original: dominique bernard
A former pupil of the Carnot secondary school in Arras has created a bronze sculpture in tribute to Dominique Bernard, the French teacher killed in a knife attack at the school in October 2023. The work was reported by local outlet Nord Littoral as a memorial gesture from the school community, and discussion of Bernard's memory continues across France.
Why now: Interest in Dominique Bernard remains strong as commemorations of the Arras school attack continue in France.
