Android users are complaining that managing app notifications has become needlessly complicated. One critic notes that in the past a single switch controlled whether an app could send notifications, while today notifications are scattered across countless settings both in the operating system and inside each app, depending on the situation. The post struck a chord with others who share the frustration.
Why now: The complaint taps into widespread annoyance at increasingly complex notification controls in Android, prompting people to vent about the same experience.
