Deutsche Welle delays Fediverse explainer video over upload glitch

Deutsche Welle's innovation team says it planned to release the final instalment of its DewiExplains video series on Tuesday, covering the Fediverse, but the clip would not upload or process for reasons the team has not yet identified. The outlet apologised to followers and joked that its audience likely already knows how the decentralised social web works. No new release date has been announced.

Why now: DW's audience of Fediverse users finds it notable that a video explaining the platform is being delayed on the platform itself.

• Hi there. 👋 We actually wanted to post the final # DewiExplains video today – which covers the # Fediverse – but for some reason (we haven't been able to figure out yet), the clip won't upload / can't be processed. 😐 Luckily, you're already familiar with all things fedi. 😀… · dw_innovation · 13
