A new production of The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie is drawing praise from theatregoers in Edinburgh. One audience member who attended last week called it an excellent and impressive staging of Muriel Spark's story, saying a couple of small elements rankled but it remains well worth catching, with the heroine made more extraordinary still.
Why now: A review of a well-received stage adaptation of Muriel Spark's classic is encouraging theatre fans to see it.
