A claim is spreading on social media that YouTuber Dhruv Rathee, at a press conference, accused the Modi government of pressuring Salman Khan's upcoming film 'Maatrubhumi' into reshoots to avoid portraying China negatively. The post calls the government fearful of China. No mainstream reports confirm any such press conference or reshoot, so the claim remains unverified and may be satirical.
Why now: The claim mixes a popular critic, a Bollywood star and India-China tensions, but is unverified and likely being shared mockingly.
