Italian climate initiative MindTheClimate has gained the support of jazz trumpeter Paolo Fresu, following earlier backing from mountaineer and teacher Erik Viotti. The project is fundraising through the Ideaginger platform, with a public appeal inviting people in Italy and abroad to contribute. Supporters say public figures lending their names will help broaden the campaign's reach.
Why now: A fundraising campaign is publicly announcing new celebrity endorsements to attract donations.
