GTA 6 PC may require NVMe drive and 16GB VRAM

Original: ⚡ Rockstar Engineers Test DirectStorage 2.0 and 16GB VRAM Baseline for GTA 6 PC Port Internal engineering reports from R

Reports attributed to internal engineering work at Rockstar North claim the PC version of Grand Theft Auto VI will drop support for legacy SATA hard drives and instead require an NVMe SSD with DirectStorage 2.0, alongside a 16GB VRAM baseline. If accurate, it would mark one of the strictest storage requirements for a mainstream PC release. Gamers are debating the accessibility of such minimum specs, though the claims have not been confirmed by Rockstar Games.

Why now: Anticipation for any technical detail about the long-awaited GTA 6 PC port drives intense speculation about its system requirements.
