Artemis Fowl Animated Series Greenlit at Disney
Original: Breaking News - Global Book Franchise "Artemis Fowl" Greenlit for Animated Television Series on Disney Channel and Disney+
Disney has greenlit an animated television series based on the Artemis Fowl book franchise, set to air on Disney Channel and stream on Disney+. The adaptation of Eoin Colfer's bestselling fantasy novels about a young criminal mastermind follows Disney's earlier 2020 film version, which was widely panned. Book fans have long hoped for a more faithful take on the material.
Why now: Fans are reacting to Disney giving the popular book series a second screen adaptation after the poorly received 2020 film.
