The Israeli Prime Minister has called for an investigation into 24 Israeli military and intelligence personnel who testify anonymously in the documentary "NAZA", which examines the army's conduct and use of force in Gaza. The film's whistleblowers reportedly describe practices they consider threatening or unlawful, and the move to probe the testifiers rather than the allegations is drawing criticism and debate online.

Why now: The Prime Minister's decision to investigate the whistleblowers rather than the alleged conduct has sparked controversy over freedom of testimony and accountability in the Gaza war.
