Skubal falters as Brewers beat Tigers ace in NLCS

Original: With minimal support, Skubal loses steam 2nd time through in NLCS loss to Brewers

Tarik Skubal lost steam the second time through the batting order as he took a loss to the Milwaukee Brewers in the NLCS, receiving minimal run support from his teammates along the way. The outing marked the second time in the series the left-hander faded after an early strong stretch, and the Brewers took advantage to secure the win.

Why now: A star pitcher and MVP candidate losing a playoff game with no run support is a major postseason storyline.
