Friends team up to build a retaining wall
Original: Got together with a few friends and helped another friend make some progress on his retaining wall. I showed up a little
A group of friends spent the day helping one of them make progress on his retaining wall. Arriving after work had begun on the first course of blocks, they added four to five more courses and installed the drain pipe plus a large amount of backfill. The helpers described the result as very satisfying.
Why now: A personal account of hands-on outdoor work with friends resonates as wholesome, satisfying DIY content.
