Artemis Fowl Animated Series Greenlit with Eoin Colfer Producing
Original: Artemis Fowl Animated TV Show Greenlit With Eoin Colfer as Executive Producer
An animated television adaptation of Artemis Fowl has been greenlit, with author Eoin Colfer attached as executive producer. The fantasy book series about a teenage criminal mastermind was previously adapted into a poorly received 2020 Disney film, so fans will be watching closely to see whether the new show offers a more faithful take on the source material.
Why now: News of a fresh adaptation of a beloved book series, after the widely criticised 2020 film, is drawing attention from fans and media.
