Zack Polanski, leader of the Green Party of England and Wales, is calling for internal rule reforms after the party declared that Zionism is racism. The move would give party leaders greater control over policy positions, and the dispute has drawn attention to divisions within the Greens over the party's stance on Israel and Palestine.
Why now: The party's contested declaration on Zionism and its leader's push to reform internal rules have sparked debate over party governance and Israel-Palestine policy.
