Readers are discussing a queer romance novel that stars an Italian soccer player who spends hours in the kitchen, simmering genovese sauce for five hours and ragu for eight. One reader joked about the contrast with their own low-effort cooking and said they were looking forward to a story where the romance and domestic detail, not just explicit scenes, carry the book.
