Artemis Fowl Animated Series Greenlit by Disney

Original: Artemis Fowl Animated TV Show Greenlit for Disney Channel and Disney+

Disney has greenlit an animated television adaptation of Artemis Fowl for Disney Channel and Disney+. The show will bring Eoin Colfer's popular book series about the young criminal mastermind to the screen once again, following Disney's poorly received 2020 live-action film adaptation, and fans are watching closely to see if this version will be more faithful to the source material.

Why now: The 2020 live-action Artemis Fowl film was widely panned, so news of a fresh animated take is drawing attention from fans hoping for a better adaptation.
