A new review of The Hovering Blade (さまよう刃), WOWOW's 2021 six-episode Japanese crime series adapted from a novel, discusses the show's indecisive protagonist and notes the drama is available on Apple TV+ under its English title. The piece reflects on the moral hesitation at the story's core rather than praising brisk justice.
Why now: The reviewer is revisiting and recommending a 2021 crime drama currently streaming on Apple TV+, prompting discussion among viewers of Japanese crime fiction.
