Original: Les # elections vont etre excitantes, c'est beau la " # democracy " # fr # présidentielle # presse # media # arte # lemo
Ahead of the French presidential election, a social media user quipped that the vote would be exciting and praised democracy, in a post loaded with references to French media outlets like Arte, Le Monde and France Info. The tone reads as ironic, pointing to frustration with how the press and political class cover the campaign.
Why now: France's presidential election is approaching and people are venting about media and political coverage.
