Artemis Fowl Animated Series in the Works at Disney+
Original: 'Artemis Fowl' Is Getting a New Animated Disney+ TV Series 6 Years After Live-Action Movie!
Disney+ is developing a new animated television series based on Eoin Colfer's Artemis Fowl books, six years after the poorly received 2020 live-action film. The move signals Disney's attempt to revisit the young genius character and his fairy-world adventures in a format that may better suit the source material. Fans are weighing whether animation can succeed where the movie failed.
Why now: The 2020 film was widely panned, so news of a second adaptation attempt is drawing attention and debate among fans.
