A developer has launched WallHop, a new web tool positioned as a replacement for 12ft.io, the paywall-bypass service that has stopped working. The tool is available at wallhop.io and is being discussed on Hacker News, where it has drawn modest early attention with few comments so far.

Why now: Paywall circumvention tools attract attention whenever a well-known option like 12ft.io disappears.
