Kelly Clarkson says Brooklyn store gave her 'Pretty Woman' treatment

Original: julia roberts

Kelly Clarkson has publicly criticised a Brooklyn store, saying staff treated her like a suspected shoplifter — an experience she compared to the treatment Julia Roberts' character receives in the 1990 film 'Pretty Woman'. The remarks have put Julia Roberts' name back in search trends as people revisit the film's famous boutique scene alongside Clarkson's claims.

Why now: Kelly Clarkson's complaint echoed the famous 'Pretty Woman' shopping scene, pushing Julia Roberts back into searches.
