A gardener pulled an old potato storage box from a basement shelf expecting it to be empty, only to find the potatoes had sprouted on their own. Delighted by the discovery, they plan to try coaxing one of the sprouted potatoes into producing green shoots, remarking that life finds a way even in a dark cellar.
