Bannon: Election denial is 'the core belief of the MAGA movement'
Original: Bannon: Election denial is ‘the core belief of the MAGA movement’
Steve Bannon said that refusing to accept election results is 'the core belief of the MAGA movement', framing election denialism as central to Donald Trump's political base. The remark is drawing attention as US election debates intensify, with critics citing it as further evidence that false fraud claims remain a defining position among Trump's most committed supporters ahead of future votes.
Why now: Bannon's blunt framing of election denial as central to MAGA identity is fueling debate over the movement's direction and the GOP's relationship with election conspiracy claims.
