The Telegraph reports that Spain and Greece are refusing to hand over Patriot air defence missiles that could be sent to Ukraine. Both countries hold sizeable stockpiles nearing expiry, including at least 200 PAC-2 interceptors in Greece, and are under pressure to donate them as Kyiv faces continued Russian air attacks.

Why now: Ukraine's urgent need for air defence makes allied refusals to release available missiles highly controversial.
