James Gunn's DC Quietly Shelves Four Gods & Monsters Projects

Original: James Gunn's DC Officially Shelves 4 Movies & TV Shows From DCU Chapter 1's Gods & Monsters Slate In The Years Since It Launched Under Warner Bros.

Warner Bros. and DC Studios under James Gunn have officially dropped four movies and TV shows from the DCU Chapter 1 'Gods & Monsters' slate in the years since the rebooted universe launched. The cancellations underscore how Gunn and Peter Safran's studio has steadily pared down the original lineup as they reshape DC's film and television future, with fans debating which shelved projects might still be revived.

Why now: Renewed attention to DC's cancelled slate as the rebooted universe moves forward without several originally announced projects.
