Zelensky Offers Refinery Strike Halt if Russia Stops Energy Attacks

Original: "Ukraine Will Stop Hitting Refineries if Russia Halts Energy Attacks, Zelensky Says" # Politics # News # USA # Governmen

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says Ukraine will stop targeting Russian oil refineries if Russia halts its attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure. The proposal revives the idea of a mutual stand-down on energy strikes, which both sides have previously discussed in negotiations. The statement is drawing attention amid ongoing diplomatic efforts to end the war and concerns over global energy prices.

Why now: Zelensky's conditional offer touches on active peace negotiations and global energy supply concerns.
