Rotorua Library, Te Aka Mauri, has shared a 2012 photograph of the former Bank of New Zealand North branch building. The image, distributed through DigitalNZ's historical records collection, documents the banking heritage of the Rotorua CBD. The building is now occupied by Koiora, a change that highlights how heritage bank architecture in the city has been repurposed over the past decade.

Why now: Local history and heritage photography from Rotorua's archive attracts interest from people following changes to the city's historic buildings.
