Starlink under pressure in Ukraine and India

Original: starlink

SpaceX has restricted Starlink operations in Ukraine, disrupting some military missions, according to a presidential aide, renewing scrutiny of Elon Musk's control over the satellite network. In India, Starlink is facing a regulatory and political fight: Mukesh Ambani's Jio is contesting its market entry, and BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has accused the service of posing risks to security agencies, responding to criticism from Musk. The satellite internet provider is now at the centre of disputes on two continents.

Why now: Starlink is simultaneously hitting political resistance in India and being accused of disrupting Ukrainian military operations, keeping it in the headlines.
