Young farmers take a weekend of rest

Original: It's the weekend, and the garden is resting. No watering,no digging. Our young farmers are home with family and friends,

A community farming project has paused all garden work for the weekend, with its young farmers spending time at home with family and friends after a full week of labour. The message behind the break is that rest is part of farming: just as soil needs quiet seasons, the people who tend it need time to recover before the next week of work begins.

Why now: A wholesome rest-day message about sustainable farming and work-life balance is resonating with readers.
