Original: FM Sybiha responds to Trump’s statement on election of new Ukrainian President Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine An
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has responded to Donald Trump's statement about electing a new Ukrainian president, saying Volodymyr Zelensky retains the support of the Ukrainian people and that only Ukrainians have the right to decide their country's leadership. The exchange touches on a sensitive debate over whether wartime elections should be held while martial law remains in force.
