Montreal Canadiens forward Alexandre Texier registered a two-point effort in a loss to the Carolina Hurricanes, according to CBS Sports. The Hockey News is also highlighting the Canadiens' French Connection, a nod to the club's growing group of French-speaking players that Texier, the French forward, fits into. The 25-year-old has drawn attention since arriving in Montreal as the team fights for playoff position.
