Ed Sheeran Recruits Isaac Slade as Atlanta Opener

Original: isaac slade

Ed Sheeran has named former the Fray frontman Isaac Slade as the opener for his Atlanta show, Billboard reports. The last-minute booking came after Macklemore was dropped from the bill and other support acts quit the tour lineup. Slade, best known for the Fray's 2000s hits, steps in for the Georgia date as fans react to the shaken-up roster of opening acts.

Why now: A surprising, late lineup change for a major Ed Sheeran tour stop is drawing attention from fans and music media.
