Israeli strike destroys Gaza building one year into 'ceasefire'

An Israeli airstrike destroyed a residential building in the Al-Rimal neighbourhood of Gaza City, according to Al Jazeera, coming roughly a year after a ceasefire deal was announced. The strike underlines how fighting has continued despite the truce, with no reported indication of whether casualties occurred. Commenters are questioning what remains of the ceasefire if such attacks persist.
Why now: It highlights continued Israeli military action in Gaza despite a ceasefire supposedly in place for a year.
