Ruth Bancroft Garden showcased in new photo series
Original: Ruth Bancroft garden and nursery part 2. Ms Bancroft didn't believe in using name tags on the plants in her garden so I
A gardener has shared a second round of photographs from the Ruth Bancroft Garden and Nursery in California, home to a celebrated collection of cacti and succulents. Because Ruth Bancroft famously refused to label the plants in her garden, many of the species shown cannot be identified, so the photos are presented purely for their shapes and visual appeal, inviting readers to simply enjoy the display.
Why now: Garden enthusiasts are drawn to the striking, unlabeled cacti and succulent photos from this famed Californian garden.

- Ruth Bancroft garden and nursery part 2. Ms Bancroft didn't believe in using name tags on the plants in her garden so I have no clear ID on most of these. So I'll leave this thread without explanations--just enjoy the shapes. # Gardening # cacti # California · eugeneparnell@mstdn.social · 6
