Singaporeans warned to shelter from forecast afternoon rain

Original: "My fellow Singaporeans..." And those in town this weekend Rain is forecasted this afternoon (possibly seeded) Stay indo

A public-safety style message circulating in Singapore warns residents, and visitors in town this weekend, that rain forecast for the afternoon may be 'seeded' and therefore 'toxic', urging people to stay indoors and seek shelter. The note is framed as a public service announcement and ends by wishing people to stay safe, though no official source or evidence is given for the claim about the rain.

Why now: Unverified claims about cloud seeding and toxic rain are alarming and prompt people to share warnings ahead of forecast bad weather.
