A Japanese entertainment roundup lists three former idols viewers say they switch the TV off when they appear: Anna Murashige, Rena Yamazaki and one more unnamed celebrity. The piece reflects ongoing online debate about which ex-idols audiences find tiresome on television, naming well-known figures from the HKT48 and Nogizaka-linked idol world.
Why now: Ongoing Japanese online debate about former idols oversaturating TV and viewer fatigue with them.
