Camera trap catches coywolf sneaking past whitetail trail
Original: Finished testing my camera trap on the chipmunk den, and moved it to another location on Thursday where I knew whitetail
A wildlife enthusiast testing a camera trap relocated it from a chipmunk den to a whitetail deer trail to test it on larger animals. Checking the device, they found it had photographed a coywolf slipping through the area early in the morning. The capture highlights how trail cameras reveal elusive predators moving unseen through ordinary woodland.
Why now: The unexpected photo of a secretive coywolf on a casually placed trail camera is a striking wildlife moment worth sharing.
