Thousands march through central London for Palestine
Original: Thousands join the National March for Palestine through central London, demanding an end to the Israeli genocide in Gaza
Thousands of protesters joined the National March for Palestine through central London, calling for an end to Israel's military campaign in Gaza, which organisers described as genocide, and demanding an arms embargo on Israel. The demonstration is part of a continuing series of pro-Palestine marches in the British capital since the Gaza war began, drawing sustained crowds and renewed debate over the UK's arms exports and policy toward Israel.
Why now: Large recurring pro-Palestine demonstrations in London continue to draw public attention amid the ongoing Gaza war and debate over UK arms sales to Israel.
