Scientists Experience Weightlessness Aboard CNES Parabolic Flight
Original: Scientists Become 'Astronauts' for a Day: Inside the CNES Plane Defying the Laws of Physics
French space agency CNES flew scientists on a parabolic flight that simulates weightlessness, letting researchers briefly float and experience conditions like an astronaut in orbit. The campaign drew attention for offering a glimpse inside the aircraft, where normal rules of gravity appear suspended during each parabola. Coverage highlights the plane's role in training and microgravity research, showing how experiments and people behave without gravity for short periods.
Why now: Striking footage of a parabolic flight simulating weightlessness captures public curiosity about space research.
