Original: "We were invited round to Iggy Pop's for tea. We were the first thing John Paul Jones did after Led Zeppelin." Wayne Hussey looks back on The Mission's debut album, God's Own Medicine

The Mission frontman Wayne Hussey has looked back on the making of the band's 1986 debut album, God's Own Medicine, in a new interview. He recalls being invited to Iggy Pop's home for tea and says the band was the first project Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones took on after Led Zeppelin ended.

Why now: A nostalgic retrospective interview with a notable 1980s rock frontman is drawing interest from classic rock and goth rock fans.
