Original: Heh! # Canada Camille called from https:// thewalrus.ca/ ...she wants your philanthropy. You CAN do? Yes? # News # Journ
A fundraising call from Canada is drawing chatter: Camille, calling on behalf of The Walrus, the Canadian magazine published at thewalrus.ca, is asking readers to support the publication through philanthropic donations. The exchange is being shared with a light, bemused tone, raising questions about whether small independent outlets increasingly rely on direct reader contributions.
Why now: unclear
