Trump explains Netanyahu endorsement and rails at Nobel snub

Original: trump news today

Donald Trump defended his endorsement of Benjamin Netanyahu ahead of Israel's election, telling Axios his reasoning for backing the Israeli prime minister. Separately, he dismissed the Nobel Peace Prize committee after he was passed over, saying 'no one ever heard of her' about the winner. Both remarks drew wide attention across US and international media.

Why now: Trump made high-profile comments on Netanyahu's reelection and his Nobel Peace Prize loss in the same news cycle.
