Writer admits defeat trying to leave Emacs for note-taking
Original: I tried to move my notes out of Emacs. I failed. Again
Blogger Jack Baty has recounted another failed attempt to move his personal notes out of Emacs into another tool. In a new post he describes trying alternative note-taking apps and ultimately returning to Emacs once again. The piece resonates with long-time users who repeatedly experiment with other software, only to fall back on Emacs for organising their notes and plain-text workflows.
Why now: Many users share the recurring experience of trying to switch away from Emacs and failing, making the confessional post highly relatable.
