Parents push to reinstate bus driver fired after kitten rescue

Original: harford county public schools driver fired

A school bus driver in Harford County Public Schools, Maryland, has been removed from the job after stopping to rescue a kitten, and parents at North Harford Elementary School are now campaigning for the driver to be reinstated. Local coverage by WBFF has amplified the story, with families arguing the dismissal was disproportionate to an act of kindness and pressing the district to reverse its decision.

Why now: The apparent harshness of firing a driver over a well-meaning animal rescue has sparked public sympathy and local outrage.
