Bogotá's Bolívar Square Seen Under the Rain
Original: LA PLAZA DE BOLÍVAR COMO NUNCA LA VISTE | Bogotá bajo la lluvia # mastodon # mastoart # colombia # espana # travel # soc
A moody portrayal of Bogotá's Plaza de Bolívar in the rain is drawing attention, presenting Colombia's main historic square from an unusual angle. The square, surrounded by the cathedral, the Capitol and the mayor's office, is normally shown on sunny days, so images and art of it drenched in rain are striking a chord with people in Colombia and Spain.
Why now: Striking rain-soaked imagery of an iconic landmark offers a fresh, artistic view of a well-known place.
