Original: # ICE Emails Discuss Using Palantir-Supported Tool to Investigate # VoterFraud Documents obtained by # Democracy Forward

Documents obtained by the advocacy group Democracy Forward show ICE considered feeding voter roll data into the ELITE tool, a Palantir-supported system normally used to identify targets for deportation. The revelation has raised concerns among privacy advocates and election watchers about the use of immigration enforcement infrastructure for voter fraud investigations, and about how sensitive voter data could be shared across agencies.

Why now: The overlap of immigration enforcement, election policing, and surveillance technology is a fresh and politically charged story
