Original: KYIV POST: Zelensky: Ukrainian Peace Team in Florida Used as ‘Smokescreen’ for US-Russia Diesel Deal https://www. kyivpo

President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Washington of using Ukrainian peace negotiations in Florida as a smokescreen while the US eased sanctions on Russian diesel exports. Speaking after talks between Ukrainian officials and American negotiators, he delivered a sharp rebuke of US policy toward Moscow. The claim has fuelled debate about whether American economic interests in Russian energy are shaping peace diplomacy.

Why now: The accusation of a hidden US-Russia energy deal alongside Ukraine peace talks is a striking claim about allied relations during the war.
