Hexagon To Deploy 1,000 Humanoid Robots In Schaeffler Factories
Original: Hexagon Is Putting 1,000 Humanoid Robots In Schaeffler Factories. This Is Not A Copy-Paste Process
Hexagon is moving to place 1,000 humanoid robots across Schaeffler's factories, in what is described as a bespoke deployment rather than a standard rollout. The partnership signals a major industrial bet on humanoid robotics in manufacturing, with attention focused on how each robot must be adapted to specific production tasks instead of being installed as an off-the-shelf solution.
Why now: Large-scale industrial deployment of humanoid robots is rare, making the deal a major signal for the future of factory automation.
