Hanshin Tigers infielder Maeda Ukyo recorded a multi-hit game for the third consecutive match in the Western League farm team action. Second-team manager Hirata praised both Maeda and Tatsumi, saying of Maeda's streak that it is 'now to be expected', while calling Tatsumi's run evidence of good form. Fans are following whether the hot streak will earn Maeda a call-up to the top team.
