Mourners Remember Amuna, a Child Killed in Gaza
Original: Playful cute Amuna was a child from Gaza whom Israel killed with lethal weapons in the 7th Oct genocide of Gaza. # Israe
Posts are memorialising Amuna, a young child from Gaza described as playful and sweet, said to have been killed by Israeli weapons during the military campaign that began on 7 October. The tribute names her among Palestinian children killed in the war, using terms including genocide, and reflects how social media users continue to commemorate individual child victims of the conflict by name.
Why now: Ongoing grief and anger over child casualties in the Gaza war keep individual victim memorials circulating online.
