Gromit, the silent beagle from Wallace and Gromit who has never spoken on screen across more than three decades, has been given a voice to narrate his own autobiography. The silent character, known for expressive eyebrows rather than dialogue, is now heard telling his life story for the first time. Fans of the Aardman creations are sharing reactions to the unusual move.
Why now: The novelty of a famously silent, beloved character speaking for the first time is surprising longtime fans.
